Clarifications about SASW Membership and Accrediation

Membership with SASW is not equivalent to accreditation as a Registered Social Worker-Provisional (RSW-P) or Registered Social Worker (RSW).

It is not necessary for a person to be a member of SASW in order to be accredited and vice-versa. The objectives and benefits of accreditation and how to apply for accreditation as a RSW-P and RSW are available at http://accreditation.sasw.org.sg

Normally, a person who is eligible for ordinary membership will meet the criteria for accreditation as a RSW-P or RSW.
