Q: What is the difference between SASW Membership and Accreditation
ANS: Membership with SASW is not equivalent to accreditation as a Registered Social Worker-Provisional (RSW-P) or Registered Social Worker (RSW). Membership and accreditation are separate processes and require separate applications to be submitted. For further clarification on Membership matters, please email membership@sasw.org.sg
Q: How will I be informed of the application status?
ANS: You will be notified of your application status via the email address provided in your application. An interim approval email will first be sent to inform you that your application has been approved in principle and to provide instructions for payment of the required fees. Once payment has been received and verified by the Association, a final approval email will be sent to your registered email address.
Q: Can foreigners apply for SASW Membership?
ANS: Foreigners may apply for SASW membership provided they are currently residing and employed in Singapore.
